Free Audio and Video Resources
YouTube blocked? There are lots of other free online video resources available...though YouTube has launched an .edu version, since so many schools are using it.
Don't forget to try Advanced Search features of Google to search for types of files -- add things like "filetype:swf" to your search to find all the Shockwave mini-videos on the topic around the web. If you try "earth filetype:swf" you will get links to sites that have little animated videos about the movement of the Earth. "filetype:ppt" gets all sorts of PowerPoint slides that you never knew existed!
In addition, "filetype:mov", avi, or mp4 should bring more videos and "filetype:wav" or mp3 should bring music to your ears...
Also, "site:.edu" just sends you to .edu sites and paths you may not have found otherwise.
